The lecture Possibilities and limitations of therapeutic drug monitoring, imparted by Prof. Emilio Perucca, from the University of Pavia, Italy, inaugurated the Academic Year 1988-1989 of the Catalan Society of Pharmacology. This inaugural meeting was held on October 17, 1988 at the Academy of Medical Sciences of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands.
