With this philosophy began the activities of the Dr. Antoni Esteve Foundation in 1984, under the Presidency of Dr. Josep Esteve Soler and the Management of Dr. Sergi Erill Sáez. Both were inspired by the previous experience of the English CIBA Foundation, founded by Sir Gordon Wolstenholme to encourage collaboration in biomedical research.
The Dr. Antoni Esteve Foundation organizes scientific activities to promote research in pharmacology, such as the Pharmacology Sessions or the Dr. Antoni Esteve Foundation Research Award.
The Dr. Antoni Esteve Foundation organizes activities between scientists and communicators to promote their interaction and promote the knowledge of research personnel.
