The Esteve Foundation organized a round table on the topic of research from clinical settings in Bellaterra, June 1, 2004. Eleven speakers presented their experience from both research and clinical settings. The rest of the attendees, most of them young doctors, participated in the discussions after each presentation. Topics were close to several disciplines as ophthalmology, surgery, haematology, cardiology, nephrology and gastroenterology. Sebastián Videla (Fundació Institut de Recerca of Hospital Universitario Vall d’Hebrón of Barcelona) and Félix Bosch (Esteve Foundation) chaired the round table and the contents of the meeting, presentations and discussions, will be published in the monograph number 32 of the Esteve Foundation.
