Workshop entitled ‘Edit or Perish? The Challenges in Biomedical Edition’ (2004)

As part of the XVth Summer School of Public Health program, the Esteve Foundation organized a workshop entitled “Edit or Perish? The Challenges in Biomedical Edition”. It was chaired by Esteve Fernández (Institut Català d’Oncologia and Editor of the Spanish journal Gaceta Sanitaria). The workshop took place from September 21st to 22nd 2004, in Menorca (Balearic Islands, Spain), and it was held in the premises of the Lazareto, a small island very close to Mahon.

During one-day and a half-day program format, this course debated some present topics related to the biomedical edition from the point of view of several members of editorial boards. Attendees wrote a final report at the end of the workshop, which is going to be distributed abroad among all interested people.
