Each year, over 600 researchers working in 60 research teams belonging to French public organizations, meet for the purpose of exchanging the latest results of G protein-coupled receptors. These receptors are involved in a multitude of diseases and are the target of many modern medicines. Hence the academic world and the industry meet at this annual event, which this year will be attended by the Esteve Foundation, to present their activities and publications to the young scientists.

The meeting is organized by the highest public scientific research organization in France, theCentre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), with the support of the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR)and the British Pharmacological Society (BPS). The workshop G Protein-coupled receptors. From physiology to drugs will take place on 21 and 22 November at the INRA Center Val de Loire of Tours. The Esteve Foundation presentation will be given by its director, Fèlix Bosch, on Monday, 21 November.
