Esta publicación es el resultado del simposio internacional que la Fundación Dr. Antonio Esteve organizó del 4 al 7 de octubre de 2000 en Lloret de Mar (Girona) sobre identificación de dosis. El libro recoge las ponencias de los científicos que participaron en este simposio y está editado por Alasdair Breckenridge, del Departamento de Farmacología y Terapéutica de laUniversidad de Liverpool. El objetivo de este encuentro y de esta publicación posterior no es otro que el de avanzar en el que probablemente sea uno de los aspectos más complicados de la terapéutica: cómo escoger la dosis más apropiada para cada paciente.
