• The scientist answered questions from readers about the new drugs against covid-19.
• Her intervention is the fourth of the Health Talks of the Women Communicating Science Network of El Periódico and the Dr. Antoni Esteve Foundation.
With the arrival of the drugs against the coronavirus, medicine has a new instrument to contrast the pandemic, which is added to the vaccines. What can we expect from these drugs? What are the most promising drugs? How should they be distributed locally and globally?
Readers of El Periódico and friends of the Dr. Antoni Esteve Foundation will have the opportunity to ask these and other questions to Nuria Izquierdo-Useros, a virologist at the AIDS Network Institute (IrsiCaixa), who has studied the potential of dozens of molecules against coronavirus.
The conversation will take the form of a live video on the YouTube and Facebook channels of El Periódico, on Thursday, January 20 at 6:30 p.m. Those who have questions for her can send them now to entretodos@elperiodico.com or intervene during the event through the comments channel on El Periódico’s social networks.
