Last November, the University of Murcia organized the second meeting of Bioethics Committees of Spanish Universities, sponsored by the Esteve Foundation, among others. The intention of these meetings is to share the experiences available in the different bioethics committees or commissions, i.e. aspects like ethics or the issues regarding research and teaching involved in animal experimentation, as well as other aspects like the investigation with human embryos or the National Commission of Assisted Reproduction. This year’s edition was attended by 39 representatives of different Spanish universities.
